How to make your own wreath by Robbie Honey

November 30, 2015 / OLD news posts

A beautifully, sweetly smelling wreath is the best greeting for festive guests. Hung on your door it speaks of welcome and celebration. And now, florist to fashion houses such as Hermés and Vivienne Westwood, Robbie Honey, has offered to teach you how to make your own.

Fascinated with flowers and their scent from a young age, growing up in Zimbabwe, Honey has forged an enviable career making stunning floral installations. Here, he shows you how to make a Blue Pine wreath which contains small terracotta pots of Cyclamen. Handmade but polished, this is the ideal Christmas weekend project.

For an even more festive atmosphere, make sure you have one of Honey’s floral scented candles burning in your home. There are four scents to choose from, including ‘Muguet De Bois’, ‘Jasmine’, ‘Casa Blanca’ and ‘Tuberose’ (£42 each), all contained in pale-grey pots.
