These technicolour tickets are the work of renowned contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Aspen’s ‘Art in Unexpected Places’ scheme, which sees Aspen Skiing Company join forces with Aspen Art Museum, Murakami has created four bright designs to be used for the duration of the resort’s 2015-16 ski season. The aim of the project is to get skiers engaged with modern art – and whose work could be more of a fun talking point on the slopes than Murakami’s?
