Surfaceview’s new collection of wall murals will appeal to history enthusiasts. Launched in collaboration with the Museum of London, the range includes maps, illustrations and posters of the capital dating from the 18th-20th century. Pictured here is A Jewish Population Map by George Arkell, which was first created in 1899. Arkell uses colour to depict the proportion of East London’s Jewish population. The murals are made to measure and can be ordered in a number of finishes, including a self-adhesive ‘Just Stick it Up’ version and a woven linen style that makes the mural look like a textured fabric (surfaceview.co.uk).
