Kate Colin This Glasgow-based designer plays with colour and geometric forms in her handmade, bespoke paper lights. As well as intricately folding the paper, she also scores the lines and uses stitching to hold it together; when illuminated, each angle becomes beautifully exaggerated.
Studio Haran Husband-and-wife design team Joel and Helena Haran create sustainable furniture and lighting from their farm courtyard workshop in Cornwall. Their debut ‘Elemental’ range is made from London Plane and English Ash hardwoods and includes bar stools, coffee tables and floor lights.
Emma-Jane Rule Contemporary silversmith and winner of the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Award 2016, Rule uses folding techniques to create her intriguingly named ‘Prickle Pods’ vessels. Available in silver and copper, they are refreshingly sculptural and modern.
