The development of our emotional wellbeing through culture. They also serve great tea, have an amazing programme of talks, and sell fabulous books and gifts (for yourself or anyone else).
Tell me more.. Let them tell you themselves…
What sort of things could I do straight away? When was the last time you coloured something in? This child-friendly activity is gaining popularity in the adult world, with the advent of whole books dedicated to staying within the lines. The School of Life and Tate have come together to produce a collection of huge A1 posters designed by well-known illustrators including Peter Judd and Jeffrey Bowman, whose design is called ‘Imagination’. According to the School of Life, picking up and pencil and colouring in the blocks ‘can help to alleviate anxiety, sharpen our concentration, and cultivate a deep sense of calm’. £12 each.
