In honour of The RHS Chelsea Flower Show (24–28 May) Sketch, the Mayfair eatery with a design twist, has flexed its green fingers. The first Mayfair Flower Show, supported by Champagne Pommery includes breathtaking displays by some of the most innovative names in modern floristry. Marvel at ‘Hinterland’ the wild entrance created by The Flower Appreciation Society, an enchanting suspended garden – ‘like an upside down meadow’ – by Jam Jar while you enjoy afternoon tea (from £45) or a petal-packed meal in the two Michelin-starred Lecture Room & Library (from £40 for three courses).
Also providing floral displays are By Appointment Only and Carly Rogers Flowers. For a preview of the wild and wonderful show take a look through our gallery of images. But be sure to visit, smell the roses and sip a ‘The Dame of Roses’ – an exclusive blend of rose liqueur, Hendricks gin, lemon juice and rhubarb bitters – before 29 May (9 Conduit Street, London W1S; sketch.london.com).
