Decorex, an event we always look forward to, returns to London’s Olympia 12-15 October, bringing together leading interiors brands, upcoming talent and the sharpest names in design. If you opt for a VIP ticket, you’ll also have access to the exclusive lounge called ‘Palomino’, a theatrical space inspired by grand circus spectacles at iconic hippodromes in Paris and London, which has been designed by acclaimed design studio Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co.
Split up into five unique rooms, the lounge features designs by British makers such as Tom Faulkner, Porta Romana and Martin Huxford, as well as bespoke furniture and materials by the likes of Philippe Hurel and Dedar.
On 15 October at 12pm, our Editor-in-Chief Ben Spriggs will join Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co’s founder, Tolu Adẹ̀kọ́ (pictured in the main image) to explore the design of the lounge and the art of storytelling. Known for creating interiors rich in narrative, such as a family home in Chiswick that features tactile materials and a jewel-toned glossy kitchen at The Scullery, he will outline how he infuses every space with emotion and value.

This discussion is just one of many unmissable highlights on this year’s programme. Across the four days, more than 100 guest speakers will take to the floor, in what Decorex’s event director Sam Fisher calls ‘a diverse range of sessions that promise to inspire, educate and engage visitors.’ From in-depth keynotes to advice-led panels, each Design Talk is intended to give audiences insight into the latest topics and trends in the industry.
Elsewhere at Decorex, over 280 of the finest interior brands will be showcasing the latest cutting-edge design, new product launches and demonstrations. We’d recommend making a beeline for Officine Gullo if you’re on the lookout for kitchen inspriaton, Naturalmat if you’re in the market for a new bed and Benjamin Moore for the low-down on the freshest paints in the business. decorex.com
