Our gardens, patios and terraces have never had it so good! Inspired by the love affair we all developed with our private patches of nature during the pandemic, many designer furniture brands were inspired to accelerate their plans for outdoor collections – Molteni & C and Ethimo both launched their’s this year. And, with this renewed interest in the outdoors comes an increased focus on al fresco entertaining.

For those looking for a serious update to the classic barbecue or beloved Big Green Egg, there’s plenty of outdoor kitchens available that offer the kind of cooking experience usually reserved for indoors. Ethimo’s first kitchen is a modular delight. Each of its three drum-like units by architect Gordon Guillaumier has a unique function – as barbecue, induction hob and sink.
