As the Western interiors world increasingly looks to the brilliance of Indian design, it is important to remember the titans who have shaped the country’s current creative renaissance. One such influential architect is Charles Correa, who designed the Gandhi Memorial Museum in Ahmedabad among many monumental commissions. To bring a taste of his brilliant work into your own home, explore a palette of turmeric yellow, chilli red, green and pink, look to glossy finishes that speak to the beauty of lacquerware and seek out patterns that bring to mind intricate weaving techniques.
