Welcome to the age of the monolithic basin. ‘The time has come for larger, statement pieces in bathrooms, as people increasingly seek impactful environments,’ says Yousef Mansuri, CP Hart’s director of design. He was speaking to us to introduce the ‘Des Evolution’ collection by Stefano Spessotto (pictured above, from £3,419). Italian brand Cerasa’s first launch in the UK, sold exclusively at CP Hart, it is a step on from the Flintstones-style stone bathrooms that emerged last year, its smooth sandstone-hued ‘Resina Paint Canyon’ finish lending it a softness and warmth. It is also an example of a wider trend towards statement washbasins. The pieces we have in this edit are some of your favourite contemporary examples – from sculptural to colourful and more classic, there is an option to suit all tastes.
