The largest of its kind in Europe, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour could make
a confident claim to the title of the world’s top interior design destination; even more so during its six-day London Design Festival celebration Focus/19, which features more than 600 brands and 130 immersive events at over 120 showrooms. Housed under the hub’s three domes and the newly expanded Design Centre East, Focus/19 is a showcase with a distinctly decorative feel, offering a feast of fabrics, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and furniture – plus opportunities to meet the designers.
This year’s show touts a fresh series of guest pop-ups to complement the array
of homegrown talent – don’t miss Ligne Roset, Amy Somerville and paint from Little Greene – as well as new showrooms from Turri, Collier Webb, David Hunt Lighting, Frato and Lincrusta.
Get involved with workshops, from carpet weaving at Christopher Farr and tile marbling at Artisans Of Devizes, or attend a talk – some are ticketed – from heavyweights like British decorator David Mlinaric and interior designer Flora Soames. 15–20 September. dcch.co.uk
