The decorator showcase Wow!House has launched ‘Shop the Show’, an exclusive event at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour where visitors can purchase a plethora of products seen at the WOW!house exhibition. Shop the Show is open on 4 July, between 10 am – 7 pm, tickets £20 (£10 for students), available at dcch.seetickets.com
If you haven’t already made it over to Chelsea Harbour for this year’s WOW!house (which we covered ahead of its opening in early June), now you have all the more reason to visit, as on 4 July, you’ll be able to explore the 18 professionally-decorated rooms and take home your favourite products from the show.
‘This is an unmissable opportunity to purchase an array of products curated and sourced by some of the biggest names in design,’ Wow!House says. Among the prominent designers are Tala Fustok, Studio Winch and Clare Gaskin. While touring the showcase, you’ll be able to get inspiration and see exactly how these interiors experts would fashion your favourite items.
‘Snap up furniture, lighting, objets, carpets, fabrics and much more by renowned makers and suppliers from all 18 Wow!rooms,’ Wow!House continues. ‘Now is the time to acquire that comfortable sofa you’ve had your eye on, invest in glorious art or upgrade a room with cushions or accessories.’
From statement lamps (as spotted on the bedside table above) to weighty tables and handmade curtains, ‘Shop the Show’ will feature unique treasures to suit all tastes. To purchase an item, all you have to do is put a red sticker on it as you tour the rooms. The personal shopping team will be able to coordinate shipping post-purchase.
According to the organisers, ‘Shop the Show’ supports a more sustainable exhibition strategy, as products are given a second life after the event finishes — something which many temporary installations fail to consider. ‘Shop the Show at Wow!house encourages environmental awareness, repurposing items on sale for more wonderful spaces after the event,’ it says.
