This is the time of year when the season’s highly anticipated new fabrics, wallpapers and paint shades traditionally drop. You will find many plains and patterns from the upcoming collections in our decorating special (October issue on sale 10 September), but if you want to see the designs in person, to feel them for yourself, you had best head over to Focus/26.
Held under the domes of Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, this year’s showcase will present the work of more than 650 brands across in excess of 140 showrooms. There will be big international names, as well as smaller local or emerging firms waiting to catch the eye and spark inspiration. There are brand-new showrooms to explore – from Corston’s high-end hardware to fabric brands Jim Thompson and The Vale London – as well as an abundance of House Guests who will make pop-up appearances. Among them, be sure to stop by Joro and Marc Philips – the latter will be launching three new rug designs.
Want to see ELLE Decoration at Focus? This is how…
Our own editor-in-chief Ben Spriggs will be hosting a Conversation in Design on the main stage: ‘Grow Your Business: Evolution, Reinvention and Renewal’ – 2-3pm, Monday 14 September – click here to book your spot.

Ben Spriggs will also be hosting a discussion with interior designer Henry Prideaux and The Romo Group’s Director of Design & Excellence Emily Mould at the brand’s Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour showroom at 11am, also on Monday 14 September.
And it’s not all happening on Monday. Stop back on 16 September 6-9pm to see Ben Spriggs in conversation with Emmanuel Gallina and Porada’s Mauro Nastri at the brand’s showroom. The trio will be discussion ‘what makes an object timeless?’, with the chat taking place surrounded by Gallina’s creations for Porada. dcch.co.uk
